Kid Rock Sex Video Case

Red Light District to contest Kid Rock sex video case.
World Wide Red Light District announced that it intends to vigorously defend the lawsuit brought in Detroit federal court regarding distribution of the 1999 Kid Rock Sex Video that it purchased from the filmmaker.
The tape features Kid Rock and Scott Stapp receiving oral sex from 4 groupies in a tour bus.
According to Red Light’s attorney, Peter M. Falkenstein, “Red Light District has not yet presented its case. We intend to fully contest this matter at the next hearing, and for as long as it takes to vindicate my client’s First Amendment rights.”
“This tape was not stolen, as has been wrongly suggested,” Falkenstein continued.
“My client was informed that from the moment it was filmed the tape was always in the possession of the videographer, a non-participant who owns the rights to the video. Nor was it a private event. It was filmed with Kid Rock’s knowledge and with the knowledge of all involved; in the presence of several non-participants; and with no restrictions as to how it might be used,” Falkenstein concluded.
Kid Rock has convinced a federal judge in Detroit to block Red Light District from selling or promoting this sex tape. The temporary restraining order issued on February 21 by US District Court Judge John Feikens bars Red Light District from selling the video or using Kid Rock’s likeness in its promotions.
A court hearing is scheduled for late March.
Teen Girls Like Evening Sex

Teen girls reported they were twice as likely to engage in sexual intercourse in the evenings as after school, according to research by Indiana University School of Medicine Adolescent Medicine researchers.
The data from their six-year study was reported in the March issue of the Journal of Adolescent Health.
Researchers followed 106 adolescent women between the ages of 14 and 18 years through annual questionnaires and daily diaries. Each participant completed three questionnaires and multiple 12-week diary entries over a 27-month period. All of the adolescents were from inner-city Indianapolis.
“This data reveals that more than just opportunity plays a role in the frequency of sexual activity among teens,”
said principal author J. Dennis Fortenberry, M.D., M.S., professor of adolescent medicine and a researcher with the Mid-America Adolescent STD Cooperative Research Center.
“I think the take-home message from this study is that more than simple public health solutions are needed to alter such complex behavior.”
Dr. Fortenberry and colleagues looked at times and frequency of sexual intercourse and factors that could affect them. Among their findings:
- Sexual intercourse among adolescent women is relatively infrequent, occurring on about 12 percent of days, according to their study diaries.
- Intercourse during unsupervised afternoon times accounts for less than one-third of all intercourse events and was less likely to occur on school days than on vacation days.
- Night / evening sex occurred more often on weekends than on vacation days or school days.
- Parental supervision reduced the likelihood of afternoon sex but did not affect the frequency of evening / night sex.
- Skipping school increased the likelihood of afternoon sex but had no effect on evening sex.

From independent films to independent games - TLA Entertainment announces partnership with Republik Games to promote anticipated videogame Spend the Night.
Philadelphia-based TLA Entertainment Group announced that they will partner with independent game developer Republik Games to market and promote the hotly anticipated upcoming videogame Spend the Night.
TLA is well-established in the independent film and video distribution market and this is the company’s first foray into videogames.
“We are always looking ahead at new opportunities,” said TLA Partner, Richard Wolff, “TLA has been a long-time supporter of independent film and we see early indicators that stand-out independent games like Spend the Night will be making a serious impact on the market.”
While the exact terms of the deal have not been disclosed, Republik Games CEO Robert Coshland confirms that TLA will acquire an equity stake in Republik Games in exchange for its marketing and promotional muscle.
“The question of marketing and distribution always comes up when you are an independent studio,” said Coshland, “Partnering with TLA will give us strategic leverage in this regard. Also, TLA isn’t shy about handling controversial content and Spend the Night is definitely going to push the boundaries of video game interactions.”
Spend the Night has been the subject of much media speculation in recent months due to its promise of immersive game play that features virtual sex. In the game, players find compatible matches via a built-in network of other Spend the Night users, and then play cooperative “virtual dates”.

Pornographer to Release Dead Actors Film

Pornography maker Stephan Sirard said he plans to release an x-rated film that features Mark Kraynak, one of two men found dead in Montreal under suspicious circumstances while in Sirard’s employ.
Kraynak’s mother, Janice Harshman Kraynak, is outraged at Sirard’s planned release of the film for March 1, especially considering that the suspicious deaths of Mark and fellow exotic dancer Steven Wright are still under investigation.
Janice Kraynak is also upset that Wright’s mother, Cheryl Crockett, will be a recipient of profits from the film, which also features her son. In an interview with the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, she said,
“I can’t believe that [Crockett] would stoop that low to exploit her son. Cheryl Crockett and Sirard are in business together. That’s a shame. She’s using her son for her own benefit.”

In a follow-up effort to their January 9, 2006 “Shockulator” media content analysis of Howard Stern’s inaugural program on Sirius 100 satellite radio, FamilyMediaGuide.com reported top-line results as follows:
- A 34% overall increase in profanity: The January 9 Howard Stern show contained 737 total instances of profanity (or 2.23 per minute), while the February 9 show contained 988 (or 3.08 per minute).
- A 100% increase in SHIT, which doubled from 30 to 60.
- A 62% increase in FUCK, with January 9 containing 77 instances and February 9 increasing to 125 (or .39 F-bombs a minute).
- A 100% decrease in CUNT, from 11 instances to 0. This entry shockulated the “Shockulator” auditors most, with several people losing serious money in the pools.
- A flat use of ASS, with 42 in both shows. However, since the February9 show ran 10 minutes shorter than the January 9 show, the instances per minute increased from .127 to .131.
