Webmaster Access will wrap up Nov. 21 with its third annual Playboy Mansion PJ and Lingerie Party from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. The most exciting adjustment made to the Playboy Mansion soirée is the addition of two extra hours of fun and amusement.
“Everyone has always mentioned that they wish there could be more time to spend at the Mansion,” Eric Matis, vice president of ICS Entertainment, the Playboy division organizing the gathering, told AVN Online. “Just when things are heating up and getting crazy, midnight arrives and everyone has to leave. This year, we convinced the management over at the Mansion to extend the debauchery an extra two hours, and they happily obliged. Now we can top last year simply by keeping the party going longer.”
The red-carpet event will offer attendees a complementary bar, appetizers and a dessert course in addition to 50 painted babes, picture booths and other salacious entertainment. Moreover, the elegant grounds and zoo will be available to explore and DJ Johnny Knight will be spinning for his third year in a row. Technically, this is the fourth year for the Mansion party, but only the third year under the PJ and Lingerie theme, inspired by Hugh Hefner’s preference to live, work and play in his trademark silk pajamas.
Shuttles will be available to take attendees from the Universal Sheraton in Universal City, the site of Webmaster Access West, to the Playboy Mansion beginning at 7 p.m. Friday, November 21.

25th anniversary AVN Awards is scheduled for January 12, 2008 in Las Vegas. Winners will be crowned at Mandalay Bay Events Center.
Upload, the futuristic thriller from SexZ Pictures, led the pack with 22 nominations, including Best Video, followed by Vivid’s Layout, with 18, including Best Film. Also scoring high were Fashionistas Safado: Berlin from Evil Angel with 17, followed by Club Jenna’s Janine Loves Jenna and Operation Desert Stormy from Wicked Pictures, each with 16. Rounding out the top vote-getters for video features were Wicked Pictures’ Coming Home (13), X-Play/Hustler’s Not the Brady’s XXX (13), Black Worm, from start-up company Pulpo Inc., (12) and Eden from Adam & Eve (10).
In the film categories Vivid Entertainment also got multiple noms for Debbie Does Dallas…Again (Series: Debbie Does…) (15), Sex and Violins (12) and Flasher (11). As previously reported, this is the last year for separate categories for releases shot on film. The only non-feature to score in double-digits was Philip Mond’s Sinema, from Club Jenna, with 10 nominations, including Best High-End All-Sex Release, a newly named category this year. Awards will be given in 114 categories (two less than last year) and voted on by AVN writers and other adult film reviewers. New categories include Best Internal Release and Best Internal Series, created to acknowledge the surge in production of creampie videos, previously included in the Best Specialty, Other Genre category. Contract Star of the Year, a first-time category last year, has this year been merged with Female Performer of the Year.

Boobs on Bikes Gets Council Permit

The Auckland City Council has approved a controversial topless porn parade.
Boobs on Bikes is the part of Erotica Lifestyles Expo. Last year’s Boobs on Bikes parade was refused a council permit. The Auckland City Council has approved a controversial topless porn parade down Queen Street. Last year the council refused to grant a permit for the annual Boobs on Bikes parade but said it was legal anyway.
The event is a lead-up to the annual Erotica Expo, organised by pornographer and Auckland mayoral candidate Steve Crow. The police had also said the parade could go ahead because in this day and age it was not indecent. However, this year organisers have been granted a permit.
Council chief executive David Rankin was unavailable for comment last night about why the council had changed its mind. Parade organiser Sandy Watts said she had met council staff on several occasions to discuss the parade and was happy with the result.
“We’re pleased that the obvious public approval of a fun event like ours has resulted in a much more collaborative approach from the council this year,” she said. “They even wished us every success with our activity on the permit.”
Last year Auckland Mayor Dick Hubbard called the parade “morally repugnant” and said he was keen to review the bylaw to stop any more topless parades down Queen St. Boobs on Bikes last year attracted tens of thousands of onlookers. It featured between 30 and 50 topless porn stars in cars and on the back of motorbikes. The parade, which commences at midday on Wednesday, will start from Upper Queen St, move on to Wellesley St, along Albert St and finish on Quay St.
