Angelina Jolie Tops Hollywood.com’s 2005 Entertainer of the Year Poll.
Jolie Grabs 30% of Votes; Paris Hilton Most Searched Celeb of 2005.

SANTA MONICA, Calif - 2005 was a banner year for Angelina Jolie as Hollywood.com voters overwhelmingly crowned the superstar as their choice for Entertainer of the Year in a recent poll. “Brokeback Mountain” star Jake Gyllenhaal followed Jolie at number two with 16% of votes.

Hollywood.com asked voters to identify the star most worthy of its 2005 Entertainer of the Year title.
Below are the top five with the percentage of votes they captured:

1. Angelina Jolie 30%
2. Jake Gyllenhaal 16%
3. George Clooney 12%
4. Jessica Alba 11%
5. Tom Cruise 10%

Hilton Leads Anderson and Simpson as Hollywood.com’s Most Searched Celeb of 2005

Hollywood.com’s nearly four million unique users showed that “Celebutante”
Paris Hilton was the most popular search across its databases in 2005, beating
out Pamela Anderson and even Jessica Simpson.
