Playboy Channel debuts on Sirius Satellite Radio.
Playboy Radio (channel 198) debuts on SIRIUS at 5 a.m. (EST) on Monday, March 14.
Playboy Radio Channel features a broad range of programming and personalities:
The Playmate Hour - this daily show will give listeners a peek inside Hef’s world and the Playboy Mansion through the eyes of Playboy’s famous Playmates. The show will be hosted by a Playmate and will feature daily Playmate interviews and updates.
Afternoon Delight - a live call-in show that will blend sex, humor, information and entertainment. This show will feature frank and honest discussions with guest experts and recurring segments such as “Sex in the News” and “The Playboy Advisor.”
Sexy Stories - a daily hour of original porn fiction and erotic adventures hosted by the sultry Ginger Jones.
Night Calls Radio - Playboy TV’s fiery red-head Tiffany Granath and legendary porn star and adult starlet Christy Canyon will steam-up the airwaves with this radio version of the immensely popular Playboy TV series Night Calls Live.
Channel also features an exciting new morning show and Hugh Hefner himself, from Playboy’s state-of-the-art Los Angeles studio and the Playboy Mansion. SIRIUS subscribers can “opt-in” for the channel via phone or the Internet, or can choose to block the channel through SIRIUS’ parental control system.
Other new programs targeting Sirius’s female demographic include a Martha Stewart Living radio channel, in addition to a talk show to be hosted by Sex and the City author Candace Bushnell.
Sirius Satellite Radio company, which already features an estimated 125 channels has been the darling of the satellite world since its launch. The company said it expects to significantly ramp-up its subscriber base this year partly based on the success of its Howard Stern Show.
