Mary Carey Has a New Plan

Mary Carey has a new plan: Run for the California Assembly as the representative from Beverly Hills, Westwood, West Hollywood and West L.A.
According to avn.com, porn star Mary Carey, who recently attended Presidential Dinner, intends to run for the California Assembly. She started out the day planning to run for governor of the state, Mark Kernes reports, but by the time her flight was about to leave at the end of the Free Speech Coalition’s annual lobbying day in the capitol, Mary Carey had a new plan: Run for the California Assembly.
“Their current assemblyman, [Paul] Koretz, is terming out,” she noted, referring to Koretz’s inability to run again for the Assembly due to term limits enacted several years ago. “It’s why I have to move to West Hollywood to do it, so I’m moving to West Hollywood. I want to move from my place anyway.”
“I think I have a really good chance of winning,” she added, “and I found out it pays $112,000 a year, so I can be an assemblyperson, do my six movies a year for Legend on weekends, fulfill my Legend contract and keep my Web site going. I could come here Mondays through Thursdays, and then on Fridays, I go home, and they pay for the plane ticket. So I’m thinking this is a great idea because I could go back Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays; I could shoot my six movies a year, and Cash [Markman] will probably write some great scripts.”
